As spring starts to fade and the weather begins to improve, the skies become a little bit clearer and the energy lifts a little bit more, the festivities start to kick into full swing. Summer in the southern hemisphere coincides with the end of the year, schools finishing up, Christmas and New Year's are just around the corner and the vibe is usually on point.

Summer is a wonderful season that brings a strong sense of joy and happiness to our lives. With its warm weather and longer days, it provides a funnel towards outdoor activities and the possibility of new adventures. Whether it's going swimming at the beach, hiking in the mountains, or enjoying one of the many barbecues that are on the horizon, summer offers countless moments of enjoyment that can contribute to our search for happiness.

The increase in sunshine during summer is always a significant mood booster and incredible for our physical well-being. Vitamin D from the sun promotes an increase in our serotonin levels and, subsequently, a more positive and energetic environment.

Summer also brings opportunities to plan a break from our usual routines and indulge in various activities that bring us joy. For many, it's exploring new spots, trying new experiences, or simply relaxing and enjoying an excessive amount of food and drink. Experiencing something new, seeing new sights, or just enjoying time away from the everyday mundaneness of life helps us recharge our batteries for the upcoming new year.

Summertime often creates a carefree and relaxed atmosphere. The pace of life seems to slow down, the days seem longer, and people tend to focus more on present and capitalizing on improved weather opportunities. Taking the time to prioritize our needs and engage in activities that bring us joy and fulfillment allows us to cultivate happiness during the summer season.

As the weather improves and the energy lifts, the mood becomes more relaxed. People naturally find more enjoyment out of everyday life. It brings more opportunities for social gatherings, creating more chances to deepen existing connections and forge new ones. It's a time of community, enjoyment, and experience. It's a season full of the possibility of deeper fulfillment and a strong contributor to the search for happiness.
