Orange Light - Planning and Preparation to Progress

As the light turns orange, it indicates the time for planning and goal setting. This phase is meant to identify aspirations and ambitions for personal growth and development. Set targets based on individual visions, objectives, and goals that align with our values and desires. Create a plan to position ourselves in areas that contribute to overall happiness, such as education, exercise, and mental well-being.

One aspect of goal setting that I believe is important to remember is that happiness is an individual pursuit. Creating goals or developing aspirations where the primary objective relies on an external factor may lead to a shortfall in achieving true happiness.

During the red light phase, it is important to reflect deeply within ourselves on our current position in life, evaluate what truly contributes to our purpose and fulfilment, and focus on creating bridging systems during the orange light phase, in order to drive toward those objectives. We should maintain truth within our consciousness and not create a false sense of aspiration simply because society or outside forces make us believe that it is the true path, or more importantly, our true path. Happiness is fundamentally created from understanding ourselves, focusing on what we truly believe, and creating a system or process in which we continually work towards it.

Once we have successfully reflected on our true position without any preconceived notions of what external factors may deem the correct pathway for us to follow, then we can successfully plan the pathway forward in preparation to pursue the desired result.
Sit down, take a moment or a segment of time to iron out your goals and aspirations. Set a timeline, a schedule, and key points in which you believe are aspects of yourself you wish to work on, or believe you should work on, that will contribute to the person you see in the back of your mind - the person you truly wish to become. Identify the different steps required to acquire the different skills that you believe are needed to progress towards that idea of yourself.

Document what you believe the pathway looks like based on the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of your life. Try to break each one of those aspects down into facets that contribute to each realm of your life, such as family, friends, work, and general life.

Once you can consciously look at your plan, your preparation for progress, and feel that it is a foundation stone that you can step on like a concrete slab in preparation for the construction of a house, then you have embraced and achieved success in the orange light phase.

The construction of goals and planning creates a pathway for growth. Growth creates purpose and that itself is a fundamental aspect in our search for happiness.
