Our cat, Bruno, is 11 years old now, and throughout his life, he has brought myself, and our family a tremendous amount of happiness. We both love animals, have, and will always have animals in the house. I think animals just create an additional element of joy, connection, and personality to the household, which is wonderful.

Over the years, I have always observed Bruno and all of our cats, and learned many lessons about composure, relaxation, curiosity, and contentment. I admire their poise, the way they can maintain such immaculate presentation, the way they are almost constantly relaxing, yet such elite predators. There is something to be said about animals, especially cats of all varieties, and their ability to disassociate any sort of expectation created by external influences, any preconceived notion around how or what way to act. Subsequently they can pretty much do whatever they want, they come and go as they please, lounge wherever they like, and offer defection only at their choosing.

The feeling of connection to Bruno is one of deep gratitude and privilege for me to have formed a deep emotional and spiritual connection with him. I always find it a profound feeling that some of the deepest emotional connections I have are with my animals, and I can’t even speak to them, in a traditional human to human sense anyhow.

Bruno has the ability to create calmness in any room. He consistently contributes to the energy systems in our house and always finds a way to bring happiness to my mind. He is who he is, does what he wants, and I think because of this pure authenticity, he projects an aura that captures a piece of my soul. He's a wonderful animal and he contributes significantly to my understanding of and search for happiness.

Thanks,

Dean
