“How did it get so late so soon? It’s night before it’s afternoon. December is here before it’s June. My goodness how the time has flown. How did it get so late so soon?. Dr Seuss

I think time is both the most understood yet misunderstood concept in life. We all know that time in our bodies is limited, and that time can be taken away from us at any moment. But is that limited understanding what drives us to live, or for some, is it what drives us not to?

How we choose to use our time is such an important aspect in our search for happiness. For the vast majority, living in the modern day and even ancient times, we all have various tasks, chores, and activities that need to be completed on a daily basis to maintain our livelihoods. Whether that be work for money, hunting, farming, or foraging for food, we must sleep, eat, and complete various other necessities regularly. So when we finally break it all down, the time that is actually left is even more limited.

The time gap between all of those things is our opportunity for growth, understanding, learning, and the pursuit of something more. How we choose to utilize this time is fundamental to our ability to find true purpose, fulfillment, and happiness, and we ourselves are the only ones who can dictate those terms.

It’s very easy to prolong, it's very easy to disregard, it's very easy not to make the most of every moment. Time is one, if not the most precious concept of our world, our lives, our everything. If we can utilize time correctly, if we can focus on the aspects of our lives that truly fill our cup the most, then we have a fantastic opportunity to succeed in the search for happiness.

Thanks,
