The Search 4 Happiness

Day 252 -Karma

Karma is an incredibly interesting concept or belief to me, and one that I believe is a foundational principle of how we should all live. Over the years, as I've gotten older and gained more life experience, I've learned various lessons, both good and bad. I've also learned more about myself, the world, and gained insight into what it means to be alive. As a result, I've developed a deeper understanding of Karma and how the world is formed within a universal balance of energies, energies that have the power to move space and time.

I've come to the personal realization that for every action, there is a reaction, regardless of whether that reaction directly affects me or not. I don't think there is necessarily a spreadsheet, per se, noting every good and bad occurrence in the world. However, there are some elements that help both unify and spectate our worlds to create balance. What exactly are the facets that dictate that balance? That is the real question.

Our happiness and the lives we live are governed by the actions we take, the decisions we make, and the feelings, emotions, thoughts, and desires we project into the universe. These contributing factors are all mixed together to create our formula, which mixes with the world as we know it. While some alternative formulas intertwine with ours, many don't. Many contribute negatively and change the formula itself. However, it is the combination of the various expressions of our life that helps continue this universal dance.

Karma to me is an important concept for everyone to at least investigate at one point in time. Whether you believe superstition, universal energy, of the concept of good vs bad, there is something to be learned in considering that there is a facet within our world that, although can not be truly defined or explained, dose contribute to our lives, who we are, who we wish to become, and the path we wish to travel.

To me, now, karma is basic logic: the energy that we project both transmits and receives the same energy, whether good or bad. However, whether that is truly the case is somewhat irrelevant. As long as the output is embedded with our values and beliefs, and reflects how we truly feel about the world and the energy we wish to receive, then we will continue on the path we choose within ourselves.

Happiness is dictated by our own perception of it. Our own perception of life and our surroundings determines the projection we express into the universe. This projection, in turn, transmits the energy that we receive. If we truly believe, accept, and embrace that energy, then we are in a strong position to succeed in our search for happiness.

“I am the owner of my Karma. I inherit my Karma. I am born of my Karma. I am related to my Karma. I live supported by my Karma. Whatever Karma I create, whether good or evil, that I shall inherit.” - The Buddha
