Day 279 - Superstition

1/29/20241 min read

I have always been somewhat superstitious about various aspects of life, culture, work, sport, and a variety of experiences, or incidents that have been subject to unexplainable occurrences or even the type of feeling they may produce. I think that within these unexplainable feelings, emotions, or occurrences, we can be left in a state of awe, and potentially a consideration builds in our minds that leaves us in a state of all possibilities.

Many people throughout my life have been incredibly closed in regards to discussions of superstitions and unexplained happenings, and to an extent, I completely understand. It’s essentially "crazy" for any of us to try to explain something with nothing tangible to provide us evidence of its happening. However, as the "modern" day civilization seems to be on the back end of the bell curve, it is becoming more acceptable to acknowledge strange or unexplained occurrences in our world.

I think it's important to trust our instincts, and although explainable occurrences may happen, if there is an element of instinctual acceptance and acknowledgment with our minds that we are connecting to a presence, or through completing certain things which may be accompanied by an underlying superstition, we should also consider the possibility of any and all potential.

As we evolve, it is becoming more and more apparent that there are various forces in our world and the universe itself which we are ill-equipped to understand. It's almost naive to think otherwise. It's naive to think that unexplainable feelings or connections should be disregarded. Possibly, these superstitious feelings are simply a hidden message that is directing us to a path we need to follow. A path which may lead to something more, something deeper - an understanding of the universe, the world, and something more about ourselves.

Thanks,
