The Search 4 Happiness

Day 282 - Maintenance

2/1/20241 min read

As we get older, responsibilities increase, time seems to evade us, and we're left wondering how to fit all of our daily requirements in, let alone find time for ourselves or time for those closest to us.

It's always important to prioritize various aspects of our lives that we deem essential and ensure that there is always a segment of time allocated to ticking said boxes. Failure in doing so can lead to loss or breakdown in relationships, skills, growth, and even ourselves - all of which can create a negative force in our search for happiness.

At times, it may not seem like certain things are priorities simply because life's daily chores or society's demands create a false sense of precedence. However, it is within those moments that we need to stop and evaluate what's truly important to us. If we could only choose to maintain certain aspects of our lives or we would lose them, what would we choose?
Making time for our loved ones, especially those closest to us is essential, managing our exercise, meditation, nutrition, mental and physical health are essential, creating moments and space in time to prioritise what we require for our own maintenance is essential.

Sometimes is so easy to let modern day society create an obscure views of priorities, and quickly the maintenance we complete is for someone or something else.

Always maintain our own maintenance, that is essential in our search for happiness.

Thanks,

Dean
