The Search 4 Happiness

Day 290 - Kingston

Happiness comes in many shapes and forms. Its presence is everywhere, at all times, and in any moment. The one common denominator about happiness is that we choose when we see it and choose when we don't.

When I see my son, spend time with him, observe him, or even think about him, my mind is filled with joy, fulfillment, and happiness. Quickly, from a point of disruption, disrepute, or pessimism, my train of thought can quickly change within a moment as I consider a thought of him.

From an early age, Kingston has shown an amazing intuition for emotions and an incredible understanding of compassion, empathy, and kindness. He creates moments of peace, love, and joy.

I believe that throughout our lives, we encounter various moments in time when we meet people who create a sense of timelessness. These are the moments when we become completely absorbed in the presence of another person and momentarily fall under their spell. Sometimes, Kingston is the one who creates these moments. It could be through his small acts of kindness toward his sister, his consideration for others' feelings and emotions, or his innate instinct to prioritize helping others.

His natural perception of right and wrong towards others has helped me see a different view on some aspects of life. He has helped me reconsider some thoughts, feelings, and emotions, checked me, and helped me grow. Having children alone is such a significant aspect in my search for happiness. However, seeing a new perspective from a child's point of view and their natural instinct towards right and wrong has had a deep impact on my world and my search for happiness.

Be good, be kind, always be yourself, and have a wonderful day.

Love you,

Dad
