Over the last 10 days I covered maintenance, Zen Buddhism, Rumi, Sleep, elders, parenting, and my children, who bring me an abundance of joy, fulfilment, and profound happiness.

Maintenance - In the midst of increasing responsibilities and limited time, it is crucial to prioritize the important aspects of our lives and allocate time for them, as neglecting these can lead to negative consequences and hinder our pursuit of happiness.

Zen - Zen Buddhism emphasizes mindfulness, introspection, non-attachment, and universal connection as key aspects in our search for happiness, believing that self-realization, detachment from material desires, and providing for all are the closest path to enlightenment and universal truth.

Rumi - Jalal al-Din Muhammad Rumi, a 13th-century Persian poet and Sufi mystic, has had a profound impact on love, life, philosophy, purpose, and the true meaning of living, as evident in his famous work "The Masnavi of Rumi" which delves into the depths of the world, and his teachings on love and self-improvement suggest that true fulfillment and happiness can be found in our pursuit of connection, understanding, and personal growth.

Fresh Template - There is something magical about the joy and wonder displayed by a baby, who lives in the present moment without preconceived ideas, and we can learn from this by embracing an open template in order to continuously learn, grow, and find happiness.

Sleep - Understanding and maintaining consistent and quality sleep is essential for overall well-being, as it affects weight, health, mood, energy, and happiness, with both too much and too little sleep having negative effects on physical and mental health, highlighting the importance of prioritizing adequate sleep for emotional stability, efficient cognition, and overall fulfillment in life.

Elders - As we grow older, it becomes increasingly important to maintain constant communication with our older friends and family members, not just to stay connected, but also to ensure their well-being and let them know we care, as they may become more isolated due to life circumstances and decreasing contact from younger generations, and we should never lose sight of this crucial aspect in the search for happiness.

Parenting - Being a parent is an ever-evolving journey that presents challenges, growth opportunities, and immense happiness, teaching us the importance of love, connection, and finding fulfillment in the simplest of things.

Carter - My daughter has surpassed all my expectations and has become a source of inspiration, teaching me valuable lessons and helping me grow as a father and a person, while her unbiased perspective continually challenges my own perceptions and provides new insights into the world. Carter holds a deeply significant place in my heart and has profoundly shaped my journey towards happiness, and I eagerly anticipate witnessing her continued growth and the person she will become.

Kingston - My son brings me immense joy and happiness through his acts of kindness, compassion, and innate understanding of others, and his perspective has greatly impacted my search for happiness as I now see it through his eyes.

Throughout my last 10 days, I've had a range of thoughts that led me to reflect on my elders, my thoughts on my own parenting, and then my children. While searching for happiness, I have occasionally thought about my children, but only now have I decided to write about them. I could elaborate on happiness and its various significant aspects in my life, such as my children, indefinitely. However, it's in the present moment that we can truly express our feelings towards everyday aspects of happiness. When we experience happiness about a particular aspect, it is in that moment that we truly connect to our deepest emotions. It is within these deep emotions that we can genuinely express our true perspective on that emotion, connection, and feeling.
