The Search 4 Happiness
Day 307 - Interaction

Our interactions with everyone around us form the foundation of everything in our lives. We are products of our environment and the average of the five closest people in our lives. However, it is the new and unfamiliar interactions that help create new ideas, concepts, and a deeper understanding of life as a whole, in my opinion. Throughout my life, there have been moments when I've felt closer to complete strangers than to some of my closest friends. It's almost as if we have known each other before or are on the same frequency.
Discussing new ideas, experiencing new things, stepping outside the norm, or learning from a complete stranger can sometimes provide answers to questions we seek or even raise questions about unknown aspects of life that we didn't realize were gaps we were trying to fill. These are all aspects of life that can create fulfilling and meaningful experiences and help us develop ourselves, our thoughts, ideas about other people, cultures, communities, and the world, as well as connect us on a deeper level. When we learn something new from someone whose ideologies differ from ours, it can lead to profound changes.
It is part of the human psyche to connect with each other on a deeper level. It is through community, connection, shared life experiences, and lessons from one another that significantly contribute to our search for happiness.
As I've grown older and my circle begins to shrink, it also provides opportunities to meet new people with fresh perspectives and ideas about life, and what it means to establish these new connections. It always enlightens me when I have the privilege of meeting someone whom I may never usually cross paths with, experiencing something new, or hearing a new idea or concept about life. Within these unique moments are hidden gems that can strongly contribute to our search for happiness.
Thanks,
Dean
