The Search 4 Happiness

Day 332 - Lesson 5 - Presence

3/22/20241 min read

In the end, all we truly have is now. Yesterday is gone, and tomorrow may never come, so the only thing that truly exists is the here and now. Like many lessons I have learned, or more so discovered formally, being present in the moment is one that, although we all hear and all know, it’s not until it is reiterated to us that it may register.

Being present in the moment is one of the most profound realizations for happiness out of all the different components that may contribute towards it. When we are present in the moment and truly enjoy every aspect of whatever we are doing for what it is, the exposure to happiness is endless.

Watching trees sway in the wind, hearing your children laugh, receiving and projecting a smile – there are so many wonderful moments in time that are lost because of our misconceived idea of something better, or the next thing. In the modern world with such vast access to technology, and people’s desire to capture a moment rather than live in it, people fail to appreciate the moment for what it is and subsequently never really live it. It’s important to pause, embrace the energy, and live in the moment.

When we learn to embrace every moment as a singular moment in time, good, bad, and everything in between, the contentment reverberates through the universe and the return of connection, fulfillment, and happiness is unwavering. Finding understanding in every moment in time, and in every moment in time you will be presented with everything your looking for.

Thanks,
