The Search 4 Happiness
Day 345 - The Wind

Happiness, like the wind, is meant to transform and morph; it is designed to follow instinctually as if the direction is preordained in our lives or to be allowed free movement without any potential constraints. So many times in my life, especially during this search for happiness, I have noticed myself drawn to aspects that I perceive as fundamental components of my happiness. Yet, at times, I have felt like I am forcing my own hand to lean towards certain scenarios that appear to be the right thing to do but may be counterintuitive at that moment.
I believe that in life and in the journey within our minds, amidst the people and the world around us, it is important to allow ourselves, the universal energy that we are, to direct our course without any preconceived ideology of where we should go or what we should do in advance.
The wind is subject to no laws, no concept of expectation, perception, or responsibility; it simply exists. It is not confined by any preconceived ideology of what it should or shouldn’t do; it is allowed the freedom to roam the earth without control. The wind moves as if it knows exactly where it is going, yet it flows as if it has no direction—it rises and falls, expands and contracts, moves fast and slow; it simply is.
It is important to strive to allow as much autonomy within our search for happiness as possible. It is crucial to continually aim to let our instinctual drives in and park our happiness to float through the passage of time and to do things simply because they feel right, regardless of the internal voices. Managing to move forward in a free-flowing form, like the wind, can strongly contribute to our search for happiness.
