The Search 4 Happiness

Day 363 - Never Ending

As we grow and evolve our perception of the world, our ideas, thoughts, and feelings toward the various elements in our lives transform. Life provides many different scenarios and limitless potential, so there is really no end if we choose not to see it that way. The end is simply our own perception of a completed task or idea. However, if we choose to pursue anything in any direction without the concept of an ending, can we allow it to continue forever? Over the years, I have learned that the process is the most significant and important factor in any pursuit or endeavour. It is within the process, from the beginning to the end, that the greatest contributing factor to our fulfillment and inner driven happiness is created.

From a young age and throughout my life, I was led to believe that the end goal was always the target, and to an extent, it is a vital component. However, it is within the consistent pursuit of improvement towards achieving the goal that is actually the most important and fulfilling aspect. The end or success is simply an outcome of the extensive pursuit of any given objective.

As I enter the last few days of my search for happiness blog, I feel a great sense of achievement, perseverance, and fulfillment. However, I don’t believe the journey will ever truly end. My aim is to continue this journey indefinitely; I aim to constantly explore new horizons in the hopes of learning, growing, developing, and becoming more. While completing the goal I set out to achieve will be a wonderful feeling and a success to look forward to, the journey itself has allowed me to delve into my mind, answer questions about myself, my surroundings, and the world. The journey has enabled me to pursue an understanding of the unknown, and as I reflect back on the various stages and begin reviewing all the blogs, it will provide a far deeper and enriching insight into the journey itself and just how much it has contributed to my search for happiness.

It’s important to set a goal, it’s important to start, but it’s vital to live in the moment and enjoy the journey. Within the journey is the path of riches, within the journey is the true essence of more.

Thank you,

Dean
