The Search 4 Happiness

Day 365 - The End

Wow! This is it! After a full year of writing my blog, I have completed the circle and achieved my goal in writing a blog about the search for happiness every day for a year. To be honest, I’m not exactly sure what to say. The journey has allowed me to find meaning and purpose in a variety of aspects of my life but also understand the world, the universe, and a variety of contributing factors in our search for happiness.

When I set out on this journey, I had a range of questions in my mind. I was unsure about various aspects of my life, a bit lost, and had been for a little while. This journey allowed me to unwind my thoughts, feelings, and emotions while also allowing me to find a new passion in writing and the pursuit of further understanding what it means to be happy.

Happiness is a complex yet simplistic concept, one that is completely defined by our perception of how we view the world. There are many contributing factors in the search for happiness, and each one is uniquely framed for every individual. Yet, all of us have the potential to achieve unwavering happiness in our own lives.

There are many things I have learned over the past year, all of which I will review and elaborate on in due course. It has become apparent that there is no one-size-fits-all solution, and our happiness is completely dependent on our thoughts, feelings, and emotions. It is also dependent on our values, morals, beliefs, wants, needs, as well as this deep intrinsic universal truth that is impossible to define, yet we all understand.

I have searched, found, felt, and expressed various contributing factors in the search for happiness. I have found many common themes from a variety of different walks of life, from Greek and Chinese philosophers to modern American psychologists, and various ancient religious texts. Various concepts, thoughts, and ideas have resonated with me and felt connected, as if I had almost heard them before.

The pursuit of understanding and the search for happiness have been a profound and transformative process since time itself. Within each of us is a deep connection to truth, what it truly means for us all to live, and what it means to be happy.

Introspection and the pursuit of understanding ourselves are vital parts of this transformative process, and ones that need to be addressed and nurtured throughout our lives. Success in the search for happiness is dependent on reflection, understanding, the pursuit of growth and learning, as well as a conscious awareness of the nature of impermanence. The universe, space, and time are in a constant state of transformation, and within that, we must also evolve and move within the flow state.

Writing this final post is not by any means the end, which in itself is a lesson I have learned about life. This is merely the beginning of an infinite desire to learn, understand, and grow, in the hopes that we can all further understand happiness, and what that truly means for us all.

Thank you for reading. I hope everyone, or anyone, has found something of value within this journey, and I wish you all a life of fulfilment, purpose, and happiness.

Thanks,

Dean
