The Search 4 Happiness
Day 64 - Oversight

Sometimes, in the search for happiness, if we focus too much on the pursuit, we may inadvertently create a route to failure. The objective should be to create mechanisms around acquiring happiness, rather than trying to obtain happiness as a tangible entity. If we focus only on the pursuit of happiness, we will never find it. The key is to cultivate a mindset of presence, understanding, and enjoyment in every moment. This entails acquiring skills to control emotions, actively searching for opportunities to contribute to society and help others, and constantly striving to improve every aspect of our lives by
aiming to become the best possible version of ourselves. It is essential to understand that happiness is an outcome of a foundation of elements that contribute to happiness, rather than obtaining happiness itself.
I recently finished reading the book 'Man's Search for Meaning' by Viktor E. Frankl. In this book, he wrote, "As we see, a human being is not one in pursuit of happiness but rather in search of a reason to be happy." I found this realization to be both interesting and profound. When we think about happiness and the search for happiness, we often place too much emphasis on the word and concept itself. However, true happiness is created through the foundations of our lives and the construction of different facets within our lives. It is through these aspects that we create an environment with the potential to foster happiness.
The journey towards happiness involves shifting our focus from the pursuit of happiness alone to the creation of more purpose and fulfilment in life. It requires finding meaning and enjoyment in all of our daily experiences, rather than fixating on a singular goal of happiness. By embracing each moment with presence, by nurturing relationships, by contributing to the betterment of society, and by continuously striving for personal growth, we lay the groundwork for sustainable happiness. Happiness is not something to be obtained as a singular goal, but rather a byproduct of a life full of constants understanding and enjoyment, the pursuit of self-improvement, and practising servitude as a member of a community.
Happiness can sometimes be difficult to obtain and impossible not to lose, but the journey is all part of the plan and sticking to the plan will provide an endless supply of opportunities in the search for happiness
