The Search 4 Happiness
Day 79 - Judgement

In today's world there is a constant flow of judgment we pass on one another which has contributed to a massive influx of envy. Social media platforms and the ease of accessing other people's lives has made it effortless for us to compare ourselves to others. This continuous comparison often leaves us feeling insufficient and questioning our own positions in society and our on achievement. However, the ability to restrain from judgment toward one another has the power to transform our internal dialogue and significantly contribute to our search for happiness.
Envy is a cold and resentful feeling which at its core is just a reflection of our own internal insecurities. With social media platforms absorbing so many of our lives, we are constantly exposed to screened and glamorised images of others' seemingly perfect lives, which is both counter productive to our own growth as well as a inaccurate perception of other lives. This exposure fuels our desire to have what others possess, leading to a sense of deficiency within ourselves. The constant flow of judgment and comparison creates a sense of inadequacy and feeling of lack of worth. As a result this hinders our potential happiness and creates unnecessary barriers within our own minds.
By restraining ourselves from judgment, we can remove this feeling of envy and instead of focusing on what others have, we can change our mindset to focus on our own lives and personal growth. This helps us create a greater sense of self-acceptance and gratitude for our own accomplishments and happiness.
When we constantly judge others, we are indirectly judging ourselves as well. The negative thoughts and insecurities that arise from our own judgment can be detrimental to our well-being. However, by creating a mindset where we remove judgment and show a deeper form of empathy, we not only create a more compassionate world but also create a much healthier internal dialogue within ourselves. Instead of criticizing ourselves for not measuring up to others, we can focus on our own self improvement and growth.
Removing this sense of judgement from
our minds can also promote healthier and more fulfilling relationships. When we judge others, we create a barrier between ourselves and those around us. This barrier prevents us from connecting with others on a deeper level and creates an unnecessary hurdle towards more fulfilling connections. When we are in a true state of authenticity without any preconceived judgements we can foster a greater sense of happiness and fulfillment.
In the search for happiness, the ability to restrain from judgment plays a crucial role. When we let go of our preconceived notions and counter intuitive ideas, we allow ourselves to embrace the diversity and uniqueness of others. This acceptance creates a shift in our mindset, from constantly comparing and envying others to recognizing and appreciating our own journey. It allows us to focus our energy towards self-discovery, personal growth, and the pursuit of the search for true happiness.
Judging a person dose not define who they are. It defines who you are.
