Whenever I go away, it's hard. I guess that's how it should be - the feeling of separation from loved ones is a unique experience and somewhat created by a combination of good fortune, fate, and a connection of universal energies.

As my children grow older and the world my wife and I have created evolves from a bit of fate, thoughts, ideas, and manifestations, I feel deeper connections growing. Connections I can't explain - connections that almost form out of a compounding effect of continuous connected worlds. It's crazy how, in a way, after being with my wife for 12 odd years, we have formed somewhat of a telepathic connection. You learn more about each other, better understand each other's drives, emotions, and flaws. You then adapt, absorb, and pursue growth as a single unit. As well as learning to read each other's thoughts and, to an extent, pre-emptively understand and feel each other's next moves.

My children are starting to form their personalities on a deeper level and starting to understand further what they agree with and their perception of themselves - ideologies that they believe in and ones they disagree with. It's incredibly interesting for me to watch them absorb concepts and ideas, process them, and create their own opinions. Especially when those opinions conflict with mine or my wife's. It's also incredibly fascinating that the intertwined connection that we all form together as a family, they also form a separate deep connection between themselves - of energies that cross, grow, and help each other evolve. They begin to understand better who they are and get a glimpse into who they want to be. We all form deeper connections as we learn more about each other, from each other and for each other as a family unit.

Establishing a connection on all levels is an important element in the instinctual feeling of community, connection, and purpose. Forming and building deep relationships, especially in a family dynamic, creates a universal connection that, in many aspects, is unexplainable. Unfortunately, the ability to develop these connections is not guaranteed. In order to begin a journey of connection, both parties must agree to allow each other into each other's universe.

Believing that everything happens for a reason and having faith in the direction the universe takes us, combined with connection and consciously devoting a part of you to form and nurture a deep-rooted relationship with someone, is both a fundamental human instinct as well as an amazing opportunity to grow together as one and from a universal connective standpoint. Developing these connections and forming a strong, intertwined rope that connects the various key relationships in your life is a strong contributing factor in the search for happiness.

Thanks,
